We advocate for ethical AI that helps people grow at work and in life. More creativity. More opportunity. Progress we share.
Join the conversationWe believe AI should empower people personally and professionally instead of displacing them. Good Citizen AI finds and supports causes where technology expands the limits of human potential. We focus on creativity, growth, and innovation. We ensure technology serves as a tool for flourishing, not a replacement for the soul.
Technology works best when it adds to human skill. It provides the leverage we need to reach new heights together.
We put our resources into education and tools that help everyone develop. We want to see individuals and groups thrive.
Being an ethical advocate means being open. We share our work, our lessons, and our vision with the whole world.
The Pledge
The companies with the most reach have a duty that matches that power. This Pledge is a public commitment anyone can read, quote, and hold signers to. Soft ethics pages do not change behavior. Clear promises do.
We pledge that our AI will make people more capable, not less necessary, and safer, not more exposed. We will design, deploy, and govern our systems so they expand human skill, opportunity, and creativity; we will keep pace with those who would abuse them; and we will answer for that commitment in public.
We build and ship AI that adds to human judgment and craft. Where automation removes work, we invest in the people affected with clear paths to new skills and roles, not silence.
We treat security as a first-class product duty. We design against misuse, share threat knowledge where it protects the public, and support tools that keep pace with attackers so people and institutions can feel safer, not more exposed.
We put real resources into education, tools, and causes that expand creativity, opportunity, and human development. Progress we fund should be progress people can feel.
We publish what this Pledge means for our products, our workforce, our research, and our security posture. Once a year we report progress in plain language: what we shipped, what we learned, and what still needs work.
Stand behind people. Defend against bad actors. Lead in public.
